![]() 1. Is it safe to give my credit card to a vendor through Email? Unfortunately, there are hackers that have the ability to extract information from unknowing vendors. Email, unless kept in a secured environment, is not safe from intruders. You will know if you enter a secure environment. Most browsers will alert you that you are entering a secure zone. This is an indication that the information is likely safe in that environment. If a vendor is asking for credit card information via email, we suggest you call the vendor and give the information over the phone or via fax. Those two methods are much safer.
